Michelle’s flight home was scheduled for 11:20 pm Monday night, so we left Musket Cove and motored into Denarau Marina to position ourselves for her departure. Denarau is a world of its own – an upscale resort island attached to the mainland near Nadi by a causeway. There are three Sheraton Resorts lined up in a row on the island, a golf course, and a huge building boom of more resorts and timeshares. Rod and Anouk tackled Raven with buckets of soapy water for a quick cleanup, refilled the freshwater tanks with a hose and hooked up to shore power while Michelle packed her suitcase. We did some touristy shopping and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Saffron Restaurant (Indian cuisine) before sending Michelle off to the airport in a taxi and heading back ourselves to crash on Raven.
