I lived in the country and visited Wayag on 2010. A 5 hours journey by long boat from Wasai. The links to the birds of paradise videos are really really amazing (I knew their book but never thought they have behind the camera scene in youtube!). Thanks.

By the way, Alfred Wallace visited the Arus and Raja Ampat thru Kabui and then stayed in Waigeo in 1850s in search of the fabled birds. You’re lucky to witnessed one of them.
