We’re leaving Oahu this morning and sailing across the channel to Molokai. We’ll spend several days there and then continue on to Maui.
Thursday we drove the circle tour around the island seeing the sights. We ate lunch at a shrimp wagon on the north shore and tried for a couple of public beaches – but all are so popular, even on a weekday, that there was no place to park. End of the day we finally found a parking space and Mike and Rod went boogie boarding while I stayed dry and took some action photos for my photography class.
Yesterday was errand day, including a stocking-up trip to the grocery store. Then in the late afternoon we took Raven out of the harbor and anchored off Waikiki Beach to watch the Friday night yacht races, eat dinner, and enjoy a fireworks show on the beach.
